People have been enjoying white, sparkling, and red wines (and beer) at select Starbucks locales in Chicago. They are offering savory small plates to pair with these wines with prices between $3.50 - $7. Here's a sampling of the wine and appetizer menu:

Sparkling
- Prosecco, Santa Cristina, Italy, Light and Crisp $9/$32

White
- Sauvignon Blanc, Villa Maria, New Zealand, Tart and Crisp $8/$28

Sparkling Rosé
- Brachetto, Rosa Regale, Italy, Sweet and Fruity $9 split

Red
- Cabernet Sauvignon, Markham, Napa, Full-bodied and Oaky $15/$50 (Markham was founded in 1874.)

*Warmed rosemary and brown sugar cashews, herbal sweetness with a perfect touch of spice. $3.50
*Blue brie cheese, toasted walnut cranberry bread and fig preserves. $7
*Truffle Mac & Cheese $6

Some say the menu and food are boring and safe, but coffee lovers are not necessarily wine lovers so only time will tell if their customers will ' demand' a deeper wine menu.
